The Trixie Raincoat in Mrs Elephant is made out of 100% recycled plastic bottles. The lining of the raincoat is a cotton jersey that feels super soft on delicate skin, whether you are wearing a sweater or a short-sleeved T-shirt. This raincoat is practical as well as stylish so your little one is always ready for the elements.

The Trixie Raincoats are made out of 100% recycled plastic bottles. Trixie were alarmed by the fact that there could be more plastic than fish in the sea by 2050, they set out to reuse plastic and give it a second life.

First, the plastic bottles that are used are intercepted from the flow of plastic waste. They are then transformed to yarns that can be used to make durable, high-quality fabrics. It takes about 40 bottles to make a beautiful, eco-friendly raincoat.
